NCINCI President Brian Clark told analysts Wednesday the company could look to purchase companies with cybersecurity and health information technology offerings, the Washington Post reported Friday.

“I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to complete a deal this year and accelerate our top line as we head into 2015,” Clark said at a conference call Wednesday, according to the Post.

Marjorie Censer writes the company posted an annual profit of $7.7 million for 2013.

Marco de Vito, chief operating officer at NCI, said the company is seeing more solicitations and he believes the market is turning around after a difficult year, Censer reports.

“Those things show us that our clients are ready to commit the funds and are not as reluctant as they were last year,” de Vitto added, according to the report.
