StethescopeonKeyboardDell and Kallo have forged an alliance to design and develop an information technology infrastructure at Kallo’s global support center for healthcare clients.

Kallos delivers customized healthcare delivery platforms designed to support mobile care, clinical training, pharmacy informatics, diagnostics and disaster management programs in developing nations, Dell said Tuesday.

Dell will help Kallo create a health IT infrastructure comprising of leverage storage, networking systems, tablet computers and servers.

David Miketinac, vice president and general manager of commercial sales at Dell Canada, said the company works with healthcare technology providers to manage care.

The infrastructure will be designed to link Kallo’s communications hub in Canada to medical command facilities and rural mobile clinics in Kallos’ countries of operation.

These centers will work to coordinate healthcare programs and help customers in developing nations fullfill the World Health Organization’s millennium development goals, Dell says.
