KofaxJames Urry, partner at Augusta Columbia Capital Group, has been appointed a non-executive director and member of the nominating committee at Kofax.

Effective February 3, Urry will be the tenth member of the board for the smart process applications company.

“Jamie brings to the Kofax board a deep understanding of capital markets and wealth of experience supporting high growth companies,” said Greg Lock, chairman of the board of directors of Kofax.

Prior to joining Augusta in May 2011, Urry was a partner at Court Square Capital Partners and served as a partner at Citigroup Venture Capital from 1989- 2007.

“I’m enthusiastic about joining Kofax’s board at a time when the company is building momentum in the smart process applications market by making the First Mile of business smarter,” Urry said after his appointment.
