Satellite Industries will lease a 13,000 square-foot temporary facility in Elkhart before constructing the future 106,000-square-foot center on 22 acres of space in Bristol, Indiana’s government said Feb. 7.

“Indiana has always attracted us due to its central location to a majority of the U.S. population, easy access off main interstates, a manufacturing oriented workforce and competitive wages and tax incentives,” said John Babcock, chief financial officer at Satellite Industries.

Gov. Mike Pence noted manufacturing covers the majority of the state’s private sector industry.

The company will receive up to $675,000 in conditional tax credits from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, depending on the number of jobs filled by Bristol citizens.

Open positions include areas such as warehouse management, assembly and warehouse and office administration.
