partnershipDeloitte will work to help Huntsville, Ala.-based small business LSINC compete for prime and subcontract awards under the Defense Department’s Mentor-Protege program.

LSINC said Thursday it brings its woman-owned small business status, community connections and its engineering and manufacturing offerings to the partnership as the companies pursue federal and commercial projects in the U.S.

“We are honored to both join with Deloitte and to have been approved by DoD for participation in this outstanding program,” said Alicia Ryan, LSINC founder and CEO.

The Mentor-Protege program matches large companies with small businesses that seek to grow their portfolio of prime and sub-prime contracts.
