CF188Boeing International has delivered the last of the 76 CF-188 fighter jets that the Canadian air force ordered through a contract awarded in March 2011.

The contract called for the modified CF-188 fighters to have an upgraded electronics warfare suite and modified air-to-air and ground-to-air threats protection equipment, the Canadian Air Force said March 4.

L-3 Military Aviation Services served as a subcontactor for the work and helped modify the jets at the Canadian air force’s 4 Wing facility in Cold Lake, Alberta.

The companies worked on each jet for 14 days to complete the updates.
