Bae-systems-logo_ExecutiveBiz1Douglas Steil, general manager of cybersecurity products at BAE Systems, said the company has updated its document manager with watermarking technology to further build up the security product’s features.

The company worked on its SIBA data collaboration and dissemination tool in cooperation with Mach 1 Development, the maker of the DocuTRACER technology that tracks where each file was shared or distributed, who had access to the document, and what changes were made.

Analysts use SIBA to mark or tag portions for viewing depending on the level of access a user has on the document.

“SIBA is enhancing information sharing, protecting the integrity of data and defending customers against leaks of highly sensitive information,” Steil said Tuesday.

“With the integration of DocuTRACER, we can now offer an even more secure data management tool to government and commercial customers,” he added.
