BoeingLogoSean McCormack, Anne Toulouse and Brian Ames have moved to senior leadership positions within the communications organization of Boeing.

Boeing appointed McCormack as vice president of communications for its commercial airplanes business, with responsibility in media relations, employee and executive communications and advertising and marketing communications, Boeing said Friday.

McCormack, Boeing’s corporate VP of communications for government operations since 2009, will succeed Mark Hooper, who will leave Boeing on Sept. 1.

Ames, formerly director of internal and CEO communications for Boeing Defense, Space & Security, has been named corporate VP of employee communications.

“Sean, Anne and Brian also are seasoned leaders who bring a wealth of relevant experience to their new roles to further strengthen our brand and the effectiveness of our communications with internal and external audiences,” said Tom Downey, Boeing senior VP of communications.
