Cloud Computing, ExecutiveBizVerizon has partnered with Renfinity to offer Terremark enterprise cloud products with Renfinity’s Secure Grid service in a combined package in order to help businesses, utilities and federal agencies secure their cloud infrastructures.

The companies said Sunday that they aim to help users adopt both infrastructure-as-a-service software-as-a-service platforms.

“With Verizon we can deliver a much more robust security solution to our customers’ entire application infrastructure,” Renfinity CEO Renee McCown said.

“By offering this as a service, our customers, who require Department of Defense class security, can now achieve the scale that they need to accomplish their business and infrastructure security goals.”

Renfinity and Verizon aim to have their joint offerings in the market by the third quarter of 2014.
