Globecomm and Gannexion have expanded their partnership with a new agreement to provide the government of Mali with e-welfare and network services as well as communications support to personnel stationed at remote camps.
The companies said Monday they have previously delivered e-welfare services to Afghanistan and Turkey, among other countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Joost de Jong, Gannexion director, said he sees further work with government organizations as the company continues work with Globecomm.
Under the contract, Globecomm’s teleports in the U.K. and Netherlands will work to support satellite connectivity for radio, television, video teleconferencing and voice and data services to enable personnel to interact remotely with their loved ones, the companies said.
Work also includes 24/7 monitoring and on-site operations and maintenance support.
