Information buildersInformation Builders said the latest KLAS Research survey has ranked the company among the top four business intelligence and analytics services providers for the healthcare industry.

The study cited Information Builders’ use of various methodologies (scheduled reporting, data mining, data integrity, data warehousing) and approaches (mobile, self-service BI) to reach and satisfy more customers, Information Builders said Monday.

“Healthcare organizations are encountering an unprecedented level of change, and uncertainty is being brought on by things like meaningful use, accountable care, security and privacy, insurance reform, and so forth,” writes report author Joe van de Graaff, research director at KLAS.

“The list goes on, but successful organizations are increasingly using one element as a rudder to navigate these challenges: data. Most providers are inundated by data, if not drowning in it.”

KLAS polled close to 500 healthcare providers on the quality of BI companies’ value delivery amid the massive amounts of data these vendors need to process, coupled with industry issues such as compliance, integration and privacy concerns.

“We believe our strong positioning in this KLAS report is reflective of our vision to bring a ‘single version of the truth’ to healthcare organizations to allow them to integrate data across every area of the business and bring greater insights,” said Gerald Cohen, president and CEO of Information Builders.
