operational security1Lockheed Martin has partnered with Terma to implement a critical infrastructure protection system at an Owego, New York, facility run by Lockheed’s mission systems and training unit.

Terma said Tuesday its T.react surveillance platform will work to help Lockheed security personnel to monitor any internal and external threats along the building’s perimeter.

The CIP technology deployment at the Lockheed facility comes under a business cooperation deal between Lockheed, Terma and the Danish government following Denmark’s procurement of MH-60R Seahawk helicopters.

A Lockheed-Sikorsky team manufactures the multirole aircraft.

Terma’s CIP package is comprised of a monitoring station, alarm devices, a ground surveillance radar, thermal sensors, a server and control system and high-definition cameras.

The company also designed T.react to help customers monitor security of airports, power plants, water supply infrastructure military installations and ports.
