A consortium led by consulting firm LMI has launched a website – www.ghsc.lmi.org — to inform government agencies and non-governmental organizations about the assistance the U.S. Agency for International Development offers under its Global Health Supply Chain Program.
LMI said Wednesday the website is designed to provide technical assistance and help address financial management, procurement and health supply chain issues.
“More than anything else, this is about improving the delivery of AIDS relief and other vital immunizations in enduring fashion,†said Pat Tamburrino Jr., vice president of the health division at LMI and head of the consortium.
LMI said it created the consortium after it won a $500 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract for the program in March.
