Schafer Corp. will provide scientific engineering and technical assistance services to the Department of Homeland Security‘s Domestic Nuclear Detection Office under a potential three-year, $90 million task order contract.
The company said Wednesday its support for DNDO is in line with its chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosives portfolio and efforts in the national security sector.
“We look forward to our continued partnership with DNDO helping DHS protect our country from nuclear and radiological threats,” said Ramesh Ramaswamy, vice president of Schafer’s DHS operations business.
Schafer will contribute its technical and operational experience and partner network to support the agency’s radiological and nuclear detection programs.
