An Airbus Defense and Space company has won a 10-year contract to upgrade the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s emergency call processing system.
Airbus DS Communications will replace LVMPD’s system with its VESTA 911 platform and provide technical support and implementation services for the department under the agreement, Airbus said Tuesday.
The company noted that it will deploy the VESTA 911 system along with the VESTA 911 Activity View tool, VESTA Analytics MIS platform and 106 emergency call centers.
VESTA 911 Activity View is designed to monitor call duration, volume and response times, while VESTA Analytics MIS aims to help supervisors manage data workloads and track call centers’ performance, according to the company.
