The U.S. Air Force has awarded MTSI a potential four-year, $25 million contract to help integrate space, air and ground sensor platforms for the military service to access intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance data.
MTSI will use a company-developed sensor resource management system to provide rapid ISR technology integration services to USAF under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, the Defense Department said Monday.
The company will perform work in Alexandria, Virginia, and at two AF bases in Ohio and New Mexico through Sept. 17, 2019.
The military branch issued the contract on a sole-source basis through the Small Business Innovation Research III program and is obligating $900,000 in fiscal 2015 research and development funds at the time of award.
