Accenture has been selected to update the U.S. Census Bureau’s digital services in order to help users gain access to information via the Census.gov website.
Accenture Federal Services will provide tools for the Census Bureau’s work to transform digital communications, data dissemination and customer interactions, Accenture said Tuesday.
The contract contains a one-year base period and four one-year options.
“This work builds on our redesign of the website that improved navigation and created an engaging experience to better explore website content,†said Ed Meehan, Accenture’s lead for federal safety and citizen services.
The project is part of Census Bureau’s five-year Digital Transformation Program and Accenture will work to migrate content to Census’ fresh content management system and open access to data for all devices.
