b-w world-peopleThe Center for a New American Security has appointed nine executives from the defense, consulting and financial industries to the organization’s board of advisers.

CNAS said Thursday that each appointee will serve a three-year term and aims to help inform the debate over U.S. national security issues.

“Their engagement on key topics will be invaluable to furthering CNAS’ ideas and impact,” said Kurt Campbell, CNAS chairman of the board of directors.

CNAS listed its new advisory board members as:

  • David Wajsgras, president of the intelligence, information, and services business at Raytheon
  • William Lynn, CEO of DRS Technologies and Finmeccanica North America
  • Neal Blue, chairman and CEO of General Atomics
  • Mike Petters, president and CEO of Huntington Ingalls Industries
  • Robert Roche, co-founder and executive chairman of Acorn International
  • Sharon Marcil, senior partner at The Boston Consulting Group
  • Lawrence Di Rita, communications executive at Bank of America
  • Michele Davis, global head of corporate affairs at Morgan Stanley
  • James Schenck, CEO of PenFed
