CACI International will work to support mission planning efforts of U.S. geographic combatant commands worldwide as part of a five-year, $180 million Joint Geospatial Analytic Support Services contract awarded to the company by Special Operations Command.

The company said Monday the contract seeks to expand its footprint in the intelligence services market and contains a base term and four one-year options.

Ken Asbury, president and CEO of CACI and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2016, said the award represents one of the company’s strategic efforts to boost its business in the geospatial market.

SOCOM awarded the contract to CACI’s subsidiary in early March.

CACI-Athena will help SOCOM collect, analyze and exploit geospatial imagery intelligence in support of special action forces’ operations against terrorism.
