DynCorpLogoDynCorp International has achieved a private security company management systems certification conducted by independent auditing firm MSS Global.

The certification builds on the company’s compliance with the ISO 18788 standards for security operations management systems, DynCorp said Tuesday.

“The PSC.1 Standard, established by the U.S. Congress, requires any company providing security services to meet high standards for its management systems, ethics and compliance with international human rights standards,” noted Leonard Moss, DynCorp’s chief security officer and vice president of security.

“The auditors examined [DynCorp]’s management systems, training, operational procedures and commitment to human rights,” he added.

ASIS International and the American National Standards Institute created the PSC.1 Standard to help establish standards for the management of private security services.

DynCorp said it has previously achieved certification on quality management, environmental management, safety management and quality management for aviation, space and defense organizations.
