energy-departmentThe Energy Department has issued a draft request for quotation in support of a plan to develop a blanket purchase agreement for engineering, programmatic and technical services in support of DOE’s National Nuclear Security Administration.

A FedConnect notice posted Friday says the the RFQ is open to vendors that hold the General Services Administration’s contract schedules for professional services.

DOE’s draft document provides instructions for the preparation of quotes for the proposed BPA, such as technical information and BPA price lists.

The department also outlines evaluation factors for awards such as small business status, corporate experience, price quotes, and employee recruitment and retention plans.

DOE will accept electronic responses to the RFQ through Oct. 24.
