general-atomicsGeneral Atomics‘ aeronautical systems subsidiary will demonstrate its ground control system simulator and maritime intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft at the Japan International Aerospace show through Oct. 15.

The company said Wednesday GA-ASI’s booth will feature the Guardian ER aircraft and hands-on demonstrations of the Advanced Cockpit Block 50 Ground Control Station simulator.

David Alexander, GA-ASI president of aircraft systems, said the event gives the company an opportunity to introduce its products to Japan and other nations in the Pacific region.

Advanced Cockpit GCS is an updated version of GA-ASI’s legacy GCS and is designed to provide a 120-degree horizon field of view on multiple wide-screen graphical overlays, human-centered display technology and high-definition video.

Guardian ER works to support various missions such as disaster relief, environmental monitoring, ballistic missile defense and maritime wide-area surveillance.
