Lockheed, Data Security Council of India Unveil Online Portal to Raise Cyber Awareness; Robie Samanta Roy Comments - top government contractors - best government contracting eventLockheed Martin and the Data Security Council of India have introduced a new web-based platform that seeks to educate small and medium-sized enterprises as well as vocational training organizations on cybersecurity, DefenseWorld.net reported Thursday.

DSCI and Lockheed introduced the CyberAware online portal at the two-day NASSCOM-DSCI Annual Information Security Summit that kicked off Dec. 14 in India.

CyberAware has online training modules on internet security and cyber vulnerabilities and features videos and games on cyber threat scenarios.

“Online safety and security is vital to the growth of small and medium-sized businesses in India,” said Robie Samanta Roy, vice president of technology strategy and innovation at Lockheed.

Roy added that CyberAware will work to educate companies on how to operate in an “ever-evolving digital landscape.”
