Northrop Wins Air Force Contract to Develop Graph Analytics Software - top government contractors - best government contracting eventNorthrop Grumman has won a $7.2 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to develop a widely-applicable streaming and static parallel-graph processing software.

The Defense Department said Wednesday Northrop will identify and create static and streaming graph analytics to address five types of problem areas, anomaly detection, domain specific search, dependency mapping, N-x contingency analysis and causal modeling of events.

The project aims to explore new applications for graph analytics that have been discontinued in previous research due to processing, power or size challenges, DoD added.

Work will occur at Linthicum Heights, Maryland, through Oct. 5, 2021.

The Air Force Research Laboratory received 32 bids for the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract and obligated $631,043 at the time of award from fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation funds.
