Science Applications International Corp. and Vazata have partnered to offer government agencies a cloud technology platform certified under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
SAIC can distribute Virtual Secure Cloud Platform, for which Vazata secured provisional authority to operate through FedRAMP, as part of the partnership deal, Vazata said Wednesday.
The agreement also designates Vazata as the exclusive operations provider for VSCP.
Lance Black, chief executive of Vazata, said the partnership seeks to extend the reach of Vazata’s cloud infrastructure and help SAIC meet security and performance requirements.
Vazata gained P-ATO certification from FedRAMP’s Joint Authorization Board in 2016 to offer its Virtual Federal Image cloud platform to government agencies.
