KBR Subsidiary Awarded Year 3 Option on Navy Base Operations Support Contract - top government contractors - best government contracting eventKBR‘s government services unit has received a contract modification from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command to continue supporting U.S. Navy base operations in Bahrain.

The modification exercises the third option year of a contract originally awarded in 2014 for support services at Bahrain’s Isa Air Base, the company said Wednesday.

KBRwyle will provide facility management, emergency support, galley services, small project support and vehicle maintenance services under the exercised option.

The company has also booked three new contracts worth more than $1 billion to help manage Navy facilities located in Diego Garcia, Djibouti, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain in the next eight years.
