DARPA to Host Proposers Day on Radio Tech Devt Program in January - top government contractors - best government contracting eventThe Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency plans to host a proposers day on Jan. 15 in Arlington, Virginia, to discuss a program that seeks new radio technology for military operational environments.

DARPA said in a FedBizOpps notice posted Monday the Network Universal Persistence program looks to prototype a radio system that will work to help military users transmit data over wireless links and maintain network reliability in the event of signal degradation.

The proposers day will offer further details about the Network UP program and feature discussions that will field inquiries from potential proposers.

DARPA seeks to establish strategies on how to separate control and data planes throughout wireless links as well as introduce mechanisms that can help synchronize the individual links through the program.

The program will also work to maximize the capacities of the control channel link and create radio subsystems that can be used to assess performances.
