CBP Adopts Graph Platform From Deloitte-DataStax Alliance - top government contractors - best government contracting eventThe Customs and Border Protection has implemented a graph technology from the DeloitteDataStax partnership to support the agency’s data analytics and visualization activities, GCN reported.

Matt Rollender, vice president for global business development and channels at DataStax, told the publication that CBP uses the MissionGraph tool in efforts to detect threat actors by analyzing relationships between people and their actions.

Deloitte developed the technology on DataStax’s Enterprise data management and DSE Graph database platforms.

MissionGraph is designed to help organizations fuse data to detect fraudulent activities as well as to analyze risks, links and business operations.

DataStax built its Enterprise platform for customers to replicate and distribute information at data centers or in cloud environments.

DSE Graph is powered by the Apache Cassandra architecture and designed to help users manage enterprise datasets.

Forrester Research has found that 51 percent of data and analytics technology leaders surveyed by the company worldwide have implemented, are implementing or upgrading to a graph database platform.
