Mercury Systems to Deliver Storage Appliances for Undisclosed Military Application - top government contractors - best government contracting eventMercury Systems has received a $2.5 million task order to deliver storage appliances in support of an undisclosed military-use product being developed by a prime defense contractor.

The company said Friday the custom storage appliances to be delivered were built with TRRUST-Stor secure solid-state drive devices that make use of Mercury’s ARMOR processor.

The company’s SSD technology integrates algorithms and an advanced cryptographic engine to provide security for data used by government agencies, military branches and defense contractors.

The order was designated to be executed in Mercury’s fiscal 2018 second quarter.

Mercury’s SSD device is the only one of its kind included in the National Security Administration’s Commercial Solutions for Classified index.
