The National Institutes of Health‘s Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center has awarded Paragon Micro as a prime contractor on a potential 10-year, $20 billion governmentwide acquisition vehicle for IT products and services.

Paragon Micro President Jeff Reimer said in a statement published Monday the company aims to help help federal customers address complex IT challenges through the Chief Information Officer Commodities Solutions contract vehicle.

CIO-CS GWAC allows civilian and defense agencies to obtain multiple IT products and service offerings in the areas of cloud, networking, software licensing, maintenance, biomedical, virtualization and cybersecurity.

Joe Yamour, director of public sector sales at Paragon Micro, noted the company’s team of IT professionals will work to address customers’ IT planning, acquisition and training requirements via the NITAAC CIO-CS contract.
