The North American subsidiary of Terma has received a potential six-year, $44.3 million contract to build a three-dimensional audio system for integration into the U.S. Air Force‘s F-16 C and D aircraft models.
Terma North America will engineer, integrate and produce the 3D audio technology as well as provide spares, support equipment and interim contractor support, the Defense Department said Wednesday.
Work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will take place at Terma’s facilities in Lystrup, Denmark through Jan. 16, 2024.
The service branch will obligate $2.7 million from fiscal 2016 Air Force Reserve Command equipment funds and $5.7 millionfrom fiscal 2017 Air National Guard equipment funds at the time of award.
