Cog-MSI Team Lands Contract to Build Army Medical Data Segregation Platform - top government contractors - best government contracting eventThe U.S. Army and Defense Health Agency have chosen a CogManagement Sciences Inc. team to develop a dual-persona mobile system that can tunnel the service branch’s unclassified medical information through a classified tactical network.

Cog said Thursday it will collaborate with MSI to build a prototype multilevel security platform for Army medics to bypass the declassification process when they share critical data with military treatment facilities over classified networks.

The team will produce the system to also help telemedicine personnel who collect information and communicate with combat medics in real time.

Cog seeks to integrate its modularity-based D4 Secure Platform into the prototype in an effort to facilitate separation between unclassified and classified patient data.

DHA and Army awarded the contract as part of the service branch’s Small Business Innovation Research program.
