Comtech Mobile Datacom will provide thousands of MT-2025 transceivers in support of the military branch’s Blue Force Tracking-2 system, the company said Wednesday.

BFT-2 is part of the Army’s Joint Battle Command-Platform program.

Comtech will produce the transceivers at a manufacturing facility in Tempe, Arizona, and expects to begin deliveries in the second half of its 2018 fiscal year.

MT-2025 is designed to integrate with the BFT-1 system and comply with BFT-2 protocols.
