Report: Noblis Eyes Expansion in San Antonio, TX - top government contractors - best government contracting eventNoblis seeks to expand its operations in San Antonio, Texas from 21 employees to about 125 personnel in the next two to three years, My San Antonio reported Thursday.

Mike Cameron, director of cyber solutions at Noblis, said the Virginia-based research and technology nonprofit aims to conduct more work related to artificial intelligence, data science and cybersecurity at its San Antonio location.

“It’s just a goal — not a commitment — but over the next two-to-three years we’d like to build a technology business down there that’s maybe 100, 125 people,” said Cameron.

He added that Noblis may transfer existing staff to San Antonio, but the nonprofit looks to recruit most of the new employees in the city.

Noblis is encouraged to expand in San Antonio since some of its customers in government and academia are located in the city and because the state and local government units support the technology industry, Cameron noted.
