FBI considers $5B IDIQ for IT support services - top government contractors - best government contracting eventThe FBI has released a request for information on potential vendors of information technology products and support services as it considers creating an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract designed to meet IT requirements across the Justice Department.

A FedBizOpps notice posted Wednesday says the bureau looks to establish a potential 10-year, $5 billion IDIQ for IT consulting, cybersecurity, help desk support, operations and maintenance, agile, development, engineering, IT scientific services, telecommunications and other IT support services.

The proposed IDIQ contract will have a base performance period of one year that is expected to begin in March 2019 and nine option years.

The RFI comes as the agency’s IT Supplies and Support Services blanket purchase agreement approaches expiration in October.

The FBI will accept responses to the RFI through April 20 and plans to host an industry day on April 30 to discuss its plan for a new IT services contract.
