KBRwyle Government Services to Continue Base Support for US Army in Iraq - top government contractors - best government contracting eventThe global government services business of KBR has received a one-year task order modification to support the base-life of the U.S. Army forces deployed in Iraq for Operation Inherent Resolve.

The modification allows the exercise of the third option year under the task order the Army Contracting Command awarded in December 2014 via a Logistics Civil Augmentation Program IV contract, KBR said Monday.

KBRwyle will provide services for cargo load and transportation, airfield operations and fuel management for military installations in Al Asad, Al Bashur, Al Taqaddum, Erbil, Taji and Q-West in Iraq.

The modification includes morale, welfare and recreation; power generation and firefight support services.

KBRwyle has supported the U.S. and allied forces for over two decades under several LOGCAP contracts.
