Mitre Ranks on Computerworld's Top 100 List of IT Work Environments - top government contractors - best government contracting eventMitre placed 51st among 59 in the large organizations category of Computerworld’s 100 Best Places to Work in Information Technology list for 2018. The list describes large organizations as those with at least 5,000 U.S. employees.

The company said Monday it has been named to the list nine times, the most recent being 2016.

Joel Jacobs, chief information officer, chief security officer and vice president at Mitre, called the selection a “testimony to the great people” working at the company and expressed pride in the teams at Mitre and the organization as a whole.

The 2018 list also ranked 21 organizations in the mid-sized category and 20 in the small-scale category.

The list evaluates companies based on a variety of factors including company benefits, career development and training opportunities, as well as IT employee responses to extensive surveys.
