Boeing Secures $63M Navy Aircraft Restoration IDIQ - top government contractors - best government contracting eventBoeing has received a one-year, $62.7M contract to remanufacture F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler platforms for the U.S. Navy.

The company will inspect, refurbish and repair the aircraft units, as well as perform inner wing panel modifications that comply with the service’s new design specifications and service life projections, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

Naval Air Systems Command will obligate funds upon issuance of individual orders under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

Work will occur through September 2019 at various locations in Florida, Missouri and California.
