AECOM has secured the No. 1 spot in Viqtory’s ranking of supplier diversity programs for 2019.

The global infrastructure company said Monday it earned the distinction based on data such as supplier support and developments, goals and outcomes, personnel and infrastructure, and processes and controls.

“Veteran-owned businesses are a vital part of our supplier diversity program and we’re proud to empower veterans in every way that we can,” said John Vollmer, president of AECOM’s management services group.

The company collaborates with America’s Wounded Warfighters, the Career Transition Partnership, Yellow Ribbon Fund, Semper Fi Fund, American Corporate Partners, the Officers’ Association, the Career Transition Partnership and the Wounded Warrior Project to help service members receive assistance they need before and after their military careers.

Viqtory used public and proprietary data from the annual Military Friendly Companies survey, as well as personal information from surveys of veterans to compile the recruitment marketing firm’s supplier diversity ratings.
