Akima‘s Ikun subsidiary has received a potential five-year, $82M task order to support the command, control, intelligence surveillance, reconnaissance and rescue squadrons of the U.S. Air Force‘s Air Combat Command.

Work under the single-award task order includes unit deployment, training, information system security, scheduling, assessment and non-aviation program support services, the company said Tuesday.

“We are proud to support Air Combat Command’s new C2ISR and Rescue Squadron requirements so flight crews can focus on their primary mission,” said David Rue, president of Akima’s mission systems engineering and technology group.

Ikun will provide the operational services at 17 locations across the U.S., Europe and Japan.
