StackArmor Joins 'Authority to Operate on AWS' Program - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Cloud platform engineering company stackArmor has joined an Amazon Web Services program meant to assist providers aiming to pursue the federal government's compliance authorization process.

StackArmor said Friday its ThreatAlert security platform has been included in the ATO on AWS program after the company demonstrated the potential of its technology to address requirements under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement and Federal Information Security Management Act.

ThreatAlert is designed to merge security incident and vulnerability data from multiple AWS services into a single dashboard.

Gaurav Pal, principal at stackArmor, said the company has helped some agencies secure authorization in less than 90 days by hosting the firm's security technology within clients' AWS accounts.

Tysons, Va.-based stackArmor looks to discuss how it can support independent software vendors, software-as-a-service providers, contractors and research universities through the ATO process during the (ISC)2 Security Congress in Orlando.
