PSI Subsidiary to Update NIOSH Chemical Agent Database for Emergency Response Personnel - top government contractors - best government contracting event

A Planned Systems International subsidiary has received a task order to help the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health update a repository of data on chemical agents personnel could encounter when responding to a terrorism event.

Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International will review, correct or add chemical information to the Emergency Response Safety and Health Database as part of the task order awarded under a NIOSH blanket purchase agreement, PSI said Thursday.

ATL CEO Steven Crespy said the business will apply its research, industrial hygiene and toxicology experience to support the occupational safety and health and emergency response sectors.

Columbia, Md.-based PSI acquired ATL last year.
