ICF has introduced a platform that is equipped with analytics and data visualization capabilities and is designed to assist utilities and government agencies in planning efforts to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide in their respective organizations.

The company said Monday its CO2Sight platform will draw from ICF's energy sector experience and employ predictive models to inform utility and government planners of the interdependencies between outcomes and policies, technologies and behaviors.

ICF aims to help organizations achieve their decarbonization and carbon emission goals through strategic planning.

Power supply and demand, greenhouse gas emissions, costs, and air quality and public health are some of the factors that will be run by the data visualization dashboard of CO2Sight to provide platform users with a comprehensive view of how outcomes can be impacted.

"From customer behavior to renewables to weather and climate-related impacts, utility executives need a clear view into how external forces are affecting every aspect of their business and system operations as well as their net-zero commitments," said Anne Choate, senior vice president and lead of environment and infrastructure group at ICF.

The Fairfax, Virginia-based company has more than 7,000 employees who provide energy and decarbonization services to business, government and nonprofit organizations.
