The U.S. Air Force has tapped LinQuest to help the Space Command become fully operational by providing knowledge-based services, advisory and assistance needed for its continuous development.

The company was awarded a $31.7 million USAF cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the provision of non-personnel services in support of the space-focused unified combat command, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

LinQuest will conduct contract work at Peterson Air Force Base and Schriever AFB in Colorado through April 21, 2022.

The service branch is obligating $23.3 million from the fiscal 2021 operation and maintenance funds at the time of award. The Space Operations Command's Space Acquisition Management Directorate awarded the sole-source contract.

In February, LinQuest received a potential nine-year, $200 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the Space Force for SpOC support.
