DOI’s Bureau of Land Management Taps Redhorse for Geospatial Tech, Data Support Services

Redhorse will provide geospatial software administration, enterprise database management and other services in support of the Bureau of Land Management as part of a 10-year, $48 million blanket purchase agreement with the Department of Interior.

Contract work includes development of geospatial web services, custom geospatial applications and scripts, analysis of spatial data, provision of sensing services and modernization of data governance and dissemination, the company said.

Redhorse will also work to promote geographic information system literacy under the geospatial data and technology support services BPA.

The said efforts are meant to support land, energy, conservation and natural resource management initiatives at BLM.

Aside from the DOI, Redhorse also provides services to defense and civilian federal agencies. Its experience in supporting the government spans over a decade.
