The U.S. Navy has awarded Science Applications International Corp. a position on a potential five-year, $556 million Technical Services Support 2 Contract to support the modernization of MyNavy HR Enterprise.

SAIC will compete with other selected vendors under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide support services spanning a range of 10 information technology categories to improve the Navy’s human resources service delivery.

Bob Genter, president of the defense and civilian sector at SAIC, noted that the contract position win continues the company’s work with the Navy, following a previous TSS 1 contract.

“We are pleased that our track record of success on the first TSS contract made us a partner of choice for the U.S. Navy’s follow-on program, and we are proud to be able to bring our innovation and transformative solutions to serve the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations and subordinate commands,” Genter said.

The service categories for which SAIC will be competing include IT system support, engineering support, network support, data and information management, CIO strategic support, business analytics, business process reengineering, hardware maintenance and development, information assurance/cybersecurity, enterprise business intelligence/enterprise business analytics and software analysis.

Work is expected to be completed in October 2026 but the contract includes an option to extend the ordering period to April 2027.

The Navy also selected SAIC earlier this year to provide IT modernization support for the military service branch’s command and control systems.
