AAR to Maintain, Repair USAFE F-16 Fleet Under $365M Contract; Nicholas Gross Quoted - top government contractors - best government contracting event

AAR will provide maintenance, sustainment and support services to the U.S. Air Forces in Europe’s F-16 fighter jet aircraft under a ten-year, $365 million contract with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center.

The firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers F-16 avionics, structural depot-level repair and maintenance, Service Life Extension Program modifications and other sustainment support services, AAR said Thursday.

Nicholas Gross, senior vice president of integrated solutions at AAR, said the contract win continues the company’s partnership with the Air Force and allows AAR to deliver “highly flexible, adaptable and scalable” F-16 maintenance and supply chain services to the USAFE fleet.

“We will draw from our global sustainment infrastructure and existing partnerships to optimize fleet readiness in the European theater,” Gross continued.

Additionally, John Holmes, CEO and president of AAR, said the program represents AAR’s “successful strategic expansion into the government end market.”

Other support services also covered include supporting possible overflow requirements, on-location repairs by Contractor Field Teams and full strip, paint and corrosion control for the F-16 fleet throughout multiple locations in Europe.

Work will be performed in Utah, the Netherlands and Poland, and is expected to conclude Dec. 9, 2032.
