The U.S. Space Force seeks market information on services that could meet the business and financial management, executive, information technology and civil engineering needs of Hawaii-based space awareness management activities.

USSF said Friday in a SAM.gov sources sought notice it may eventually launch either a small business set-aside, a partial small business set-aside or a full and open competition for the required services.

The service branch will use the gathered market information to determine how it will execute the potential contract’s solicitation.

Work is anticipated to take place at Air Force Maui Optical and Supercomputing sites, including the Maui Space Surveillance Complex and the Remote Maui Experimentation facility in Kihei, Hawaii. The contract could include a one-year base period and four option years.

Interested parties must provide company details, state their capabilities and answer a wide range of questions related to employment in Hawaii, training, quality assurance, program management and other contracting aspects.

The Space Force will accept responses to the request for information through March 11 and expects to award the contract before June 1.
