CACI will start delivering services under a $5.7 billion blanket purchase agreement the Department of the Air Force awarded to support its Enterprise Information Technology as a Service Wave 1 initiative.

CACI and its team will provide enterprise technology to over 800,000 individuals across the Air Force and Space Force, the Reston, Virginia-based enterprise announced on Tuesday.

“We are honored to serve the Air Force and deliver on the department’s vision for a modern IT infrastructure,” commented John Mengucci, president and CEO of CACI and a four time Wash100 Award recipient.

Mengucci highlighted the company’s over six decades of experience with Department of Defense enterprise missions, which he said makes CACI “well-equipped to securely standardize a wide range of users, IT configurations and global environments” and continuously create new offerings for the Air and Space Forces.

Throughout the BPA’s period of performance, CACI will guide a team of small business partners to convert the DAF’s in-house, base-centric delivery IT services model into an advanced enterprise service delivery model. In doing so, CACI will provide an upgraded IT management system, IT storefront, enterprise help desk, local field services and life cycle support for end-user devices.

CACI’s contracting work is expected to enable Airmen and Space Force Guardians to access the tools required for efficient and effective mission performance as needed in any location.

“Our team is ready to work with the Air Force and Space Force to move Airmen and Guardians to more efficient and cost-effective as-a-service technology provisioning,” said DeEtte Gray, president of business and information technology solutions at CACI and a seven-time Wash100 Award winner.

“We are eager to officially begin rolling out these foundational services with the department’s global stakeholder community,” Gray said.
