Former Collins Aerospace Exec Allen Flynt Joins Redwire as SVP - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Allen Flynt, a former executive at RTX business Collins Aerospace, was appointed senior vice president of space platforms and robotics at space infrastructure company Redwire.

He brings to his new role more than 35 years of industry experience, most recently serving as vice president general manager of civil space and sea systems at Collins Aerospace for nearly a decade, Redwire said Monday.

Flynt will now be responsible for driving the development of new space systems and managing Redwire’s portfolio of space technologies.

“Allen is a proven leader with a wealth of industry experience and customer insight that will make an immediate impact on our growth strategy as Redwire continues to deliver the critical capabilities enabling humans to explore, live, and work in space,” said Redwire Chairman and CEO Peter Cannito.

Flynt’s career also includes over two decades of service at NASA. In the private sector, he was director of programs and business development for space and defense systems at Hamilton Sundstrand.
